$RCDY Memberships explained
Established in late 2020 as a virtual publishing house registered on the Ethereum blockchain, RareCandy3D got its native erc20 token — RCDY — created by the social money platform Roll.
Since then, RCDYs have been distributed to early collectors and initial supporters, as well as to various users who participated in scavenger/treasure hunts hosted in our NFT gallery located in Gangnam district, Cryptovoxels.
In April 2021, we came up with a novel token sale format — the NFT Coin Offering (NCO) — that’s native to our vision, as an attempt to distribute more RCDY tokens in exchange for crypto-capital (in terms of ETH).

After our conception of the NCO got presented to wider audiences and attracted investors and major projects from the Web3 space, we got in talks with one of our oldest friends and partners in the space as well as the token issuer of our native social token $RCDY, Roll, who expressed their excitement and positive feedback for our idea.
In fact, Roll Memberships could be thought of as sort of a mini-NCO process on its own, which we will have the great opportunity to use for the public distribution of $RCDY.
Roll Memberships
Roll is building social token infrastructure to increase the GDP of the creator economy. Memberships is a newly introduced model facilitating the participation of the broader Web3 community in creators’ social token economies.
To put it simply, that is a fungible on-chain membership model that works with any ERC20 token and separates each tier into lots or groups of each token, thus making it accessible for community members to support their favorite projects from the very beginning.
How do Memberships work?
Deposit any ERC20 token into the Roll Memberships smart contract to determine the amount of ERC20 tokens per lot, the lot price in ETH, the time length of the memberships contract, any membership perks, and if there is an allowlist where users can become a member before a public launch.
$RCDY Memberships
Our $RCDY Memberships model holds in total 10% of the total token supply (1M $RCDY), distributed in 3 phases:
- Whitelist: 1000 lots x 0.15 ETH
- Public Phase A: 2500 lots x 0.2 ETH
- Public Phase B: 6500 lots x 0.22 ETH
Each lot contains a fixed amount of 100 RCDY, and different values of lots amount to 4 different tiers where each will be rewarding buyers with a variety of awards such as conditional badges, retroactive airdrops, rare & legendary NFTs, and RC3 merchandise.
Who’s eligible for participation?
The whitelist phase spans from Sept 21st until Oct 4th. The eligibility criteria to enter this phase are the following:
- RCDY Holders
- RC3 NFT Holders
- Whitelist Sign-Ups
- OnChainChain NFT Holders
- The WIP Meetup 2022 POAP Holders
The next phase is Public Phase A lasting from Oct 1st to Oct 21st, followed by Public Phase B which will head off on Oct 21st until Nov 11th. Anyone is eligible to participate in $RCDY Memberships during the public phases.
What’s next?
